What is your primary product or service?
We produce precision metal components using photochemical machining technology, which cuts metal using acid rather than machine tools.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Conard's photo etching process provides metal fabricating capabilities that, in many cases, are not achievable by conventional (metal stamping or punching) or other non-conventional (laser, plasma, waterjet, wire EDM) processes.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Photochemical machining is a distinctively different means of fabricating precision metal components used by many industries. We are the only chemical etching provider in Connecticut and one of barely 100 etching companies in the country.
