Covenant to Care for Children provides direct assistance to Connecticut's children and youth.
Covenant to Care for Children mobilizes and channels the generosity of caring and faithful people to advocate for, mentor and provide direct assistance to Connecticut’s children and youth who are neglected, abused or at-risk.
Covenant to Care for Children is:
• A statewide agency that encourages and empowers individuals to meet the critical needs of children throughout Connecticut.
• A bridge between State and private child protective service providers and organizations that want to make a difference in the lives of children.
• A statewide agency that solicits and delivers material donations to be provided directly to children in need.
• A provider to children and families of diverse backgrounds that celebrate the unique strengths of CT's varied cultural heritage.
• A private, non-profit corporation, independent from any other entity. It is funded in part by the Connecticut Department of Children and Families, foundation grants, United Way and other community campaigns, civic organizations, individual donations and contributions by religious organizations and faith communities.
• A commitment to the belief that all children deserve to be cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.
