What is your primary product or service?
Provide medical and non-medical homecare services to the Greater Hartford area and surrounding towns. We provide Registered Visiting Nurses, Physical Therapy, Home Health Aides, PCA's, Homemakers, and Companions to clients in their homes.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Linda Tucker (owner) is a Registered Nurse. In 1980, she was asked by a parent company, to establish a company to provide staff relief for their managed area nursing homes. In 1989, Linda and Larry decided to purchase the business when the parent company was in fiscal distress. She started the homecare division in 1990 and the rest is history.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our family owned and operated business is two generations strong and are heavily involved in different aspects of the business. What makes us unique is that we provide both medical services (nursing, therapy and aides) which is covered under Medicare, Medicaid and third party insurances and non-medical services (aides, homemakers, companions) which is Service costs are usually covered by Medicare, Medicaid, Social Services, or private pay. We are able to provide all services under both companies, which is helpful to the client and family members. They then only have to make one call for all their home care needs. We also do not have voice mail or automated calls, you will always get a person or live voice answering all calls.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our main office is in East Hartford. We have a satellite/recruitment office in Old Saybrook but the majority of our business is performed in the Greater Hartford Community.

Family owned and operated. Linda Tucker, RN, CEO; Larry Tucker, CEO; Melissa Roming, Administrator; Yvette Roming, COO. And a great staff in the office.
What are your hours of operation?
Our main office is open 7am - 5pm, Monday through Friday. We are on call and available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Both our staff and clients feel that they are part of our family.
