What is your primary product or service?
We stock batteries, battery chargers, booster packs, isolators and inverters, cables, terminals, testers, and other battery related equipment and accessories for a variety of applications, including: Automotive, Commercial, Marine/RV, Motorcycle, Power Sport, Emergency Lighting and Security Alarm, Golf Cart, Lawn Mower, UPS/APC, Wheelchair and Medical Mobility, Generator, Power Tools, Two-way Radios, Hearing Aids, and more.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Steve Merone started Midstate Battery in 1986. Throughout his 30+ year career in the battery industry, he has made it a point to work with the most innovative and well-known manufactures to ensure that Midstate customers have access to a variety of products and support. He applies strict quality, power, and reliability standards to make sure that the batteries and battery-related accessories offered at Midstate outlast the competition.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our team of battery professionals – led by Steve and his son, Steve Jr. – has more than 100 years of combined experience, with specialty training in battery maintenance, system design, testing and analytics, as well as custom cable assembly. This allows us to provide every customer with one-on-one service and support in-store, online, and over the phone. No "robot" answering services or outsourced tech support here!
These practices set our team of specialists apart from the typical auto parts store because we listen to the customers needs and concerns, present them with options and a professional recommendation, and - more importantly - provide them with a quality, durable, long-lasting product that will make the most of their application.
