How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In 1989, a couple years out of college, our founder Lawrence Ford decided he wanted to help make the world a better place. As he looked around it appeared that money was controlling people and he thought it should be the other way around. Never a follower of convention he decided the only authentic way to follow his purpose was to start his own financial advisory practice. Just five short years later, and lots of macaroni and cheese dinners, he made it to the top of the charts for his unprecedented rapid growth.
At age 30 he stood backstage at a conference and was about to be paraded in front of 2500 top advisors, as one of the top ten in the nation. With drink in hand he stood there by himself, as the other 9 mingled among themselves. They finally made it over to where he Larry was standing and asked, "hey kid, tell me - whats your secret? How did you make it here so fast?" Larry responded in his natural authentic way and shared... "No secret, we just love every single client" - and they all walked away. That is when Larry realized that he was a zebra in a herd of horses.
After a decade of esteemed accomplishments in and out of the business world, Mr. Ford decided to create the ultimate financial advisory services, that he hopes to be a model for the future.
