The Library at Tunxis Community College is a public library, with guest access to wifi and personal computers, as well as a vibrant and current collection of new fiction, nonfiction, educational and international DVDs, feature films, ukuleles, hula hoops, ESL materials, a children's library of award-winning books, and so much more for all citizens of Connecticut. For students, we offer all of this -- plus group study rooms, silent study, over 50,000 books, and hundreds of thousands of e-resources. How long have you been in business?
We opened with the College, in 1970.

We are a public library that specializes in academic and personal research interests.

We have a team of award-winning librarians who are happy to help you with research, selection, or conversation!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have ukuleles and core hula hoops to lend you!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location, at Tunxis Community College, the first building as you enter the parking lot. During the semesters, there is a sandwich/coffee shop open from 7:30 am to 6 pm called PAGES Cafe.

We are located at the corner of routes 177 and 6 in Farmington, across from Five Guys Burgers.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The Library is a collaborative experience, with one director and a team of 11 librarians.
What are your hours of operation?
During the semester, we are open 8 am to 8 pm (Monday through Thursday) and Fridays from 8 am to 4 pm.
