The Nutmeg State Games is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization endorsed by the Governors Council on Physical Fitness & Health, governed by the National Congress of State Games and recognized by the U.S. Olympic Committee as the official state games of Connecticut. The Games are a multi-sport, Olympic style yearly event open to thousands of Connecticut citizens 6 – 80 years of age. Over 6,000 athletes, 1,500 volunteers and 20,000 spectators participate annually.
